I have been swimming ever since I could open my eyes. I have developed a passion for swimming ever since. I swam competitively for 8 years. I aim to share my love for swimming with everyone who takes lessons with me!

Suzanne has worked with me for the last 6 months. When I first began training with her using the Feldenkrais Method, my muscles were very tight and tense, and I was having frequent back and hip pain. Since working with Suzanne, my body has been less tense, and my hips and shoulders have loosened significantly. If Suzanne sees that anything is causing me pain, she can adjust her method to eliminate the pain but still achieve the intended results. I have also started taking Suzanne’s Wednesday morning small group class. She is excellent at modifying movements depending on each person’s body and physical limitations. Suzanne is extremely passionate about the Feldenkrais Method. It is all about mindful movement and enabling your body to use the laws of physics to work smarter and have the muscles and bones work together for less stress on the body. I would wholeheartedly recommend Suzanne and the Feldenkrais method.

Anthony has been my Personal Trainer for over three years. Our relationship started when he addressed the shoulder pain I had as a result of a car accident many years before. The stretches and exercises he showed me brought immediate relief, and over a few weeks, the 20-year pain was gone! Anthony has since guided me through a knee replacement, a hip replacement, and multiple heart issues. He is extremely knowledgeable and has an encyclopedic understanding of every joint and muscle in the human body! He has such in-depth knowledge of his craft that if a suggested exercise doesn’t have the effect he is hoping for, he immediately has two or three others to try!

Anthony takes the time to ask questions, and he listens. He has a calm, laid-back approach and a sense of humor that makes each session fun. Personally, I hate exercise! But with Anthony, it’s not “exercise”. It’s hanging out with my trainer and having fun! I recommend Anthony as a trainer for young and old alike, regardless of any physical challenges you might have! Thank you, Anthony, for who you are and what you do!

My balance and flexibility have improved since working with Suzanne over the past year as a Personal Trainer and participating in her Feldenkrais class. I feel “taller” and “looser” after each class, and my hip pain has decreased notably. I’m grateful that Suzanne has been my trainer at the Center. I needed help getting started and staying with a routine. I have had difficulty in the past, as I experience post-exertion muscle pain. I also have neuropathy. Suzanne listened to me, helped me set goals, and worked with me patiently. She kept me on track, always ready with a plan when we had an appointment, and would adapt to my needs. In my experience, trainers would perhaps make the best effort but continue a pre-planned routine even when it is not working. Not so with Suzanne – her responsiveness has been remarkable. I now keep my routine going in the Center and at home. In addition, I can apply what she taught me in the Feldenkrais method; this has made me aware of my body structure and healthy body awareness. I experience less pain and can help myself recover. I’m enjoying this journey. I’ve had an exceptional experience with Suzanne!

We met for 6 weeks to start at two times a week. I had two goals. One was to be able to work with my dad’s wheelchair. I wanted to be able to get the wheelchair in and out of the car. I also needed to be able to push it with my dad in it. We reached these goals in only four weeks. I had another goal in mind: to bring my left bicep up to the level of the right one. We also reached that goal in four weeks. I kept working with Anthony for an additional 6 weeks once a week. He knows the human body, its mechanics, and how to bring out the best in someone. He is also fun to work with and always on time! I have told many members about how he has helped me!

I found Suzanne purely by accident one day at the club while stretching. I saw her working with one of her clients and doing strange movements with them. I finally asked her what she was doing, and she told me it was Feldenkrais. I took some initial private sessions with Suzanne to address the extreme stiffness, lack of fluidity, and balance that I had been experiencing despite my ongoing efforts at training and exercise. Between her private sessions and the group sessions I currently take with her. They have been life-changing. I found a level of fluidity, balance, and physical harmony that I had previously lacked. I have much more connectivity, physically and emotionally with my body than ever before. I highly recommend anyone struggling with balance, flexibility, and other degenerative issues pursue a Feldenkrais course with Suzanne. It has been transformative!
