Kind is not normally an adjective you associate with a fitness trainer. Disciplined, relentless– able to leap tall buildings– might seem more appropriate. Kurt is all those things. However, it is his innate kindness that makes you feel he takes time to know you so he can help you. I have found the strongest people tend to be best measured in how they live. Kurt could be boastful (I mean, he was a professional soccer player in Europe); but, that would be about him, not those who seek his skill and support. He takes his role seriously but does not come off as serious. Instead, he plans for your success with specific exercises. When you perform them, he finds something to celebrate, even when your form is not there yet.
