This has truly been one of the hardest seasons of my life, walking through illness with my youngest daughter. After a very long and hard winter, we started with Maggie in March. We were finally starting to see results from my daughter’s immunotherapy and needed a plan to build back some of the strength, endurance, and muscle that she had lost. But I do a discredit to Maggie if I say that that’s all that she did for us. My daughter saw Maggie as someone she could trust and someone who was genuinely interested in her, which was especially meaningful as she was coming off a season of isolation due to illness. She found a mentor and somebody she could look up to. She found a friend! She looks forward to our time with Maggie. We are about ready to wrap up our training sessions, as she will be going back to school. But this newer, healthier version of my daughter is largely due to the training and care from her Personal Trainer and friend, Maggie.
